The best part of founding a startup and being the founder is you cannot pass on the buck and be responsible for what ever decision that you take is it good or bad.

It’s not like working in corporate company where in you pass on the buck when things go wrong and claim the credit when things go right. But in startup where in you are the point where in the buck stops.

So as you are going to be responsible for all the decisions, the best way to look at it is ensure that you take right decisions all the time its like being fighter aircraft pilot who has to land 100% all the time and every time.

Even if .1% error it’s the pilot who is blamed so lets look at this with aspect of doing right all the time.  So what happens when you need to ensure you have to come to a decision and that decision has to be right?

Apart from leaving to fate and cursing fate its better to ensure that you plan and get the decision correct. Sometimes things do go wrong as we are humans and we are prone to err.

Ensuring that decision making is well planned and is based on thought process rather than factors, which are just on, hear and say. As founder you are prone to have lot of advices and lot of examples, which always show you both sides.

But the decision is taken and implemented and when things go wrong then the people who showed the other coin come into picture to remind you that they had told you about this.

But when things go right its still the same the people who showed this side come to remind you that its there experience that helped you to get the decision correct.

Irrespective of things you will be responsible for the decisions that you make which will be either way make or break.
