This is the most typed search word in Google, with plenty of results showing what are the contents of Business plan? It would be Mission statement, Company profile, Vision, Market that you are addressing, pain points that your idea is solving, who are your competitors etc. But these things are more descriptive and writing about them will give you only the clarity from birds eye view.
So what’s next it’s the financial details where in you have investment sheet which gives you details of what you need for infrastructure and amount required for it, cost to goods if its product manufacturing, sales forecast, what is the minimum selling price you need to keep with clarity with pricing of your competitors. Cash flow sheet which will give you clarity as how long you need funds for negative cash flows and what is your burn rate. Recurring expenditure for your staff salary and office expenses, amount required for advertising. EBITDA details which explain what your revenue is and what are your expenses.
All these and many more sheets which explain the feasibility and scalability of your company in financials.
It may sound Latin and Greek for non-financial people but this is required in business plan it just cant be descriptive giving details in words as investors look at numbers as descriptive words will not show the return on investment for investor or valuation he can look for his stake in company it has to be in numbers.
Hence having descriptive will not be of help it can only substantiate your approach, its financials which give clarity is it really good project to work on.
